Is the gravel House dog Friendly?

Yes. We love our doggies! Pets are not allowed Raven’s Nest (it’s just too small) but we are happy to accommodate you with your dog companions at the Straw Bale House. The Hotel has two doggie friendly rooms! Please inquire if you have a dog that you would like to bring to the hotel or Straw Bale and there will be an additional $25/night per dog fee.

Is the gravel house Kid Friendly?

Kids are welcome! Please include them in your number of guests that will join you on your trip. Feel free to request a crib for your child if you need one.

Is The gravel House available for weddings?

Absolutely, YES! If you have a wedding party of 40 or less, The Gravel House is a crazy special place to tie the knot & celebrate your love. To inquire for pricing details and beyond, please contact us & we’ll get you dialed!

Can I rent the entire gravel house property?

Yes you can! The entire Gravel House property can sleep eight people, in total.And we can accommodate another 18 people at the Hotel which is just two blocks away. Please contact us for pricing if you’d like to rent the entire property!

gravel bike Guide Service?

You bet! The Cyclist’s Menu team cannot WAIT to show you the San Rafael Valley. We offer guiding services for rides anywhere between 25-100 miles. All abilities are welcome! We encourage anyone with a passion for fresh air/exercise/beautiful scenery to join a ride. Click here for more information! Can we rent Bikes?

Yes! We rent Pivot Gravel and E-bikes out of our bike shop Patagonia Bikes which is located in town behind the Lumber Co. We also do bike repairs, tune ups, and sell bike stuff you might need for a day out on the back roads of the SRV. Please reach out for all bike related needs or if you want to schedule a bike rental.

Private Chef?

Yes, indeed! His name is Chef Zander Ault AKA… “Chef Z”. Z is a farm direct chef who specializes in cooking regional borderland fresh recipes & “salad bombs”. He also happens to be one of the creators of The Gravel House. He is available to prep all meals (or just one special meal!) during your stay.
